Hi, I’m John Prada

I came to this work through lived experience, after years of searching for a way to feel more steady inside myself, especially during seasons of anxiety, emotional heaviness, and feeling stuck. For much of my life, I was capable and functional on the outside while struggling internally. I learned how to think, analyze, and push through difficulty, but I did not yet know how to relate to my inner experience in a way that brought ease, clarity, or steadiness.

Over years of exploration and practice, something began to shift. I came to understand that transformation is not about striving to become someone new. It is about remembering who we are beneath layers of fear, control, and self-protection. As I learned to meet myself with awareness and compassion, anxiety gradually gave way to more humor, presence, and a steadier sense of ease.

Today, I work as a transformational coach, helping people move beyond anxiety and overthinking into a deeper sense of calm and self-trust. Many who are drawn to this work are thoughtful, sensitive, or naturally self-reflective, though people come from many different backgrounds and starting points.

My work draws from somatic awareness, trauma-informed and parts-oriented approaches, spiritual integration, Core Transformation, Wholeness Work, and EFT tapping. All of these are in service of gentle, sustainable inner change. Clients often describe our sessions as grounding, clarifying, and deeply restorative, offering a return to balance and authenticity.

Because of my own experience, I especially enjoy supporting thoughtful, sensitive people, including professionals, performers, and individuals in recovery, who are ready to live with more freedom, confidence, and calm. I see this work as collaborative. People do not come to be changed by me, but to engage in a process that helps them reconnect with their own capacity for clarity, resilience, and choice. My responsibility is to support that process with care, respect, and integrity.

If this speaks to you, a session is a simple place to begin.

How We Work Together

In a session, my role is to help you slow down and relate to your inner experience in a way that feels safer and more workable. Rather than analyzing or pushing for change, we work with what is already present and move at a pace your system can trust.

This is a supportive, awareness-based approach focused on steadiness, compassionate curiosity, and nervous system regulation. Nothing is forced or rushed. When parts of you are ready to shift, they do so through understanding and settling rather than effort or pressure.

Many people find this process relieving. Instead of trying to fix themselves, they begin to experience more ease, clarity, and choice.

What to Expect

Lived Experience

Training & Background

This is not about pushing through, optimizing, or striving to become someone else. It is not a performance-based model, and there is no expectation that you arrive with insight, motivation, or a clear goal.

We do not analyze or relive your story unless it feels useful and supportive. There is no right way to feel here, and nothing you need to overcome before beginning. We simply work with what is present, without judgment or pressure.

I do not diagnose or treat mental illness, and this is not therapy. Some people engage in this work alongside therapy, while others come here after feeling stuck in approaches that relied heavily on effort or insight alone.

This approach can be especially helpful for people who feel stuck despite years of self-reflection, personal growth, or previous therapeutic work.

My work is informed by many years navigating recovery, nervous system sensitivity, and complex health challenges. Over time, I had to find gentle, sustainable ways to regulate my system, work with my mind, and rebuild stability from the inside out.

It showed me that real healing is deeply personal and rarely linear. I don’t approach change as something to force, but as something that unfolds when the system begins to feel safer, clearer, and more supported.
